Annual Rummage

This past weekend marked my 3rd annual (or was it 4th?) attendance at our local Civic Center for THE indoor rummage event.

As much as I despise getting ready for this event (Queen Procrastinator IN THE HOUSE), I look forward to it just as much.  I look forward to purging our stuff... we don't bring one thing home!  I look forward to making moo-la.  I look forward to working that day to see what kind of people come out and about and what they pay for stuff.  BUT I really like to SHOP! (Surprising, huh?!)  I love rummages but never-ever go (maybe one or two every other summer).  But to be able to shop over 200 rummages INDOOR during the WINTER months, gets my heart a pumpin'!

Here's my exciting loot this year:

$6.95 (who marks their stuff like that?  Round up to $7... make life easy!)

$10 (normally wouldn't pay that for this item but it's in such GOOD condition, I felt it was well worth it!)

** I must be in the mood for sun with these two yellow things!  Winter has overstayed it's welcome!  ***

$4 (Made Nathan's entire day!)

$2 (I can't wait to play with this baby!  Scrap booking paper, pictures, here I come!  And YES, I did pay money for this!)

$15 (This baby caused me a sleepless night because I was that excited about it!)

And to prepare for the BIG event, I made myself this vendor apron to wear (which was SO fun to make).  It did a great job holding the cash-ola:

Now... back to life.  Cleaning.  Laundry.  Bills.  Errands.  And a cold that was probably inherited by all the germs in the place - oh joy!

I still can't believe you bought that purse! :) I should have given it to you for your birthday present, but that would be tacky. Now I am stuck with trying to come up with some "jenworthy" present for you. Ohh, and the countdown is down to 9 DAYS! Can you feel it! SUN....
