(Wow. I guess being sick allows me to post more on the ol' blog. I guess that's a good thing. And since my hubby makes me work... I need to save as much sick energy as possible to even make it in to work this week. :o) Woe me. Can someone please pass me the Puffs kleenex WITH Vicks please?!)
Because of the rummage, I traded days of working with my other part-time counterpart, and that allowed me to see Nathan's basketball game (for the very first time (that's just not right)). Not only did he play but he played his best buddies' team (which was another reason I was lucky -- 'cuz I got to see them play too!)
It rocked! Not only is it the most organized sport he's ever been involved in, but it's christian based (which every single sport should be!). It is seriously COOL. The team runs out of a covered doorway with smoke filling the doorway for the players to run through. What kid wouldn't love feeling like a real super-sport-star? (I didn't know they did that and I was too busy feeding my face with one of their amazing hotdogs to take a picture. Dang it. I blame my tummy.) AND they have cheerleaders!
Not to mention prayer time!
His buddies team won but it was a good game and super fun to watch!
I also got to go to Nathan's school and be there for his Valentine's Day party (just like the 'ol days before work).
