I don't know why...
I can't watch movies that:
* Aren't feel good
* Aren't romantic
* Are for adults
* Have a ton of bad language (and when I watch them with my son bad language can consist of shut up, idiot, stupid, etc.)
* Aren't inspirational
* Aren't suitable for my 8-year-old son to watch with me
OR
* Aren't in the "family" section
Scott and I ended up having an early Valentine's Date tonight. (Nathan spent the night at a friends house last minute.) And as much as it kills me to be out without my Peanut, we did have fun. And we needed it. We need to do it more often...but I can't be without the Peanut. Anywho, I picked "where" to eat and chose Boston's Restaurant and Bar and had their nachos, which are my new favorite!
It was good but NOT my favorite because it wasn't romantic or inspirational, had a ton of the "F" bomb, made Scott jump out of his seat (I swear to God... he jumped further than I did! I've never seen him jump and he jumped out of his seat. It was awesome! Hilarious! And that in itself was worth the movie!), won't be in the family section until "R" becomes the new "PG" in a few years or so (I'm guessing seems as how that works), Nathan will not see it until he's 87, and all the way home I had to keep reminding myself that it was just a movie.
I guess I just figured out why I can't watch these types of movies anymore:
'Cuz I'm a mom.
And I want the world to be educated with GOOD and to THINK POSITIVE and to INSPIRE.
'Cuz I'm a mom and that's how my son's world should be. :o)

ya it is!
Its funny how we wait forever to grow up so we can do whatever we want.. and then we have kids and still can't/won't do it b/c of them... thankfully - they are worth it!
