We are super excited to add this to our family!
It has many memories just waiting to be made!
And... of course it had to be tested out this weekend. This is the view from our "front door."
* A bed is SO much more comfortable than the ground (in a tent).
* A/C makes a BIG difference!
* Bugs still find me, even in a camper. Check out this one:
* Scott cooks AND cleans while camping - I might sell the house!!!
* Coffee in the morning IS still a requirement when camping. We WILL have a coffee pot before the next camping trip!
* Not every campground has plumbing hook-ups.
* That being said... I still had to shower and potty in the "shower house" with mold, dirt, other people's hair, and dead bugs, all the while trying to get clean with my shoes ON.
* That being said... I found out that some women "farmer blow" while taking a shower. (I am gagging all over again just typing about it). Glad I had my shoes on - we were sharing the same drain. ( Ugh... just gagged again.)
* Marshmallows that are crispy from a campfire ARE the ULTIMATE snack. No chocolate or graham crackers required. Hey, maybe that's the diet version of a s'more. :o)
* "Moving" into a camper is a lot like moving itself. LOTS of back and forth and LOTS of buying new things to fit just right and LOTS of unpacking and settling in. LOTS.
* It takes a lot of gas to pull a camper. A LOT. I don't like paying for gas. AT ALL. EVER! Just ask my family.
* It costs a lot of money to buy food for camping. I bought so many snacks for our camping trip that the lady checking me out at the grocery store KNEW I was going camping.
* Camper design people may know all about layouts that are best and cupboards that will not come open while in route BUT they do NOT have a clue when it comes to decorating. None what so ever. (Let the decorating re-do begin!)
* I win more games of Cribbage in a camper. Sorry honey but I RULE!
* I will never ever tire of sitting by a campfire or smelling it either.
* Nathan looks even cuter, while sleeping in his camper bunk beds. (He goes to bed without a fight too!) Bunk beds were his one requirement for buying a camper!
* These are the two cutest fishermen EVER!
* I CAN live without my computer for two days. Wow!
* I'm SO very glad that God gave me a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let the memories begin!

Let's see some before shots of the inside of the camper... I'm sure it has some nice paneling or wallpaper :)
LOVE the farmer blow in the shower house - classic!!
Aww! Glad you are having fun!
I hear you on the fuel...try 8-9 hundred bucks a shot...that is a kick in the stomach.
I know you will find a great way to re-do the inside!
how fun... how fun was that post!
i could literally invision that shower house! oh my!
gotta get that coffee maker for sure! :)
what adventures yall will have!
Yeah!! you've joined the "camper camping" club... we'll have to coordinate a camping date next summer??!! How fun!! I agree about the whole decorating issue... that is why we have a camper than has NO FRU FROO... no curtains, no wallpaper, no tacky couch material....
I'll show you mine, you show me yours!! Also - baby diaper organizer worked perfect in my camper to hang on the back of the bathroom door to organize all the toiletries. We do use our shower most places, even if they do have a shower house... (I hear your pain... thank God for flip flops!!). Also -- try a french press for coffee while camping.... it's really works and is easy to camp... I found one made from plexi glass, won't break if it gets bumped!!
i hear you about all this camping business! why does it take so much more food than at home?? i never get it! it is so nice to get there and let the relaxing begin though! it seems like the guys take over more duties since they are "in the wilderness" I love it!!
