Welcome Home Punkin!

Nathan got home yesterday around 5:30 and we were so excited to see him! I think the mini vacation did us all a ton of good. Nathan has been super sweet and lovey since he got home. We had to snuggle him in with us at bedtime (Scott got kicked out later in the night - not enough room any more!). At Applebee's (yes, we're still eating out - ugh!) Nathan sat on my lap until our food arrived and kept telling us that he loved us! How cute is that?!!! He asked me to sit in the backseat with him on the way home too! He's so lucky he missed us! I think I would have died if he hadn't!!!!! Anyway, he had a wonderful time but said, "It's sure good to be home!"

While the little guy was away, Scott worked on the basement. He has all but the fireplace wall framed in! Wow, he works fast! I painted the main bathroom - still need to do the many hours of touch ups though! I hate taking the tape off - does it help at all?! Anyway, the color is Mediterranean Sun - doesn't that sound refreshing?! I'm excited to have the finishing touches done - maybe tonight.

We're heading to the pool this afternoon - let the summer begin! I let Nathan pick what he wanted to do today and that's what he picked - surprise, surprise! Anyway, I'm excited too - just being back into our fun routine is something I've been craving for some time!

My sister is in Alaska right now on the search for moose! :o) Actually, they are there for a wedding but are vacationing prior to this weekend when the big events begin. We're excited to hear all about it. Nathan and I had to do some studying on the Internet so he could see where they were at! That might be our next vacation - it looks so gorgeous!

Oh, here's the funny story for the day: This morning, I let Jasper in the house from going potty. He wanted on the bed to snuggle and play with us (morning ritual) when Nathan noticed he had poo-poo stuck on his butt. It was so gross - I tried getting it off with a Kleenex and it was like imbedded into his skin. I called Scott in to investigate when he informed me that those were Jaspers "nuts!" HA! Where did those come from? Most of our dogs have been dark colored, so I don't think I've ever seen them before...on a dog! I guess it's time to get him fixed!

I've got to share my latest purchases from Etsy. I'm so excited to get them! Here they are:
