Life...is Good!

Wow, long time, no post! :o) We were in Minneapolis/Sioux Falls/Mitchell since last Thursday! It felt so good to get away! We had such a wonderful time with all of our family! I'm sorry, but my family ROCKS! They are the BEST!!!!! We always have way too much fun when we're together! The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Congrats to Lindsay and Jason!!!!

Nathan was invited to stay with my cousins and their kids while they took advantage of Valley Fair and the zoo this week (THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU GUYS!!!!!!!). We left him on Sunday and he'll be back Wednesday afternoon or evening. It is so weird without him. We miss him so much but at the same time have really enjoyed ourselves with some much needed alone time. We stayed in Mitchell Sunday night and had a hot tub in our room - that was a treat! I enjoyed shopping in downtown Mitchell most of the day on Monday when I should have been heading home to work on the house - but since Mitchell is seriously one of my favorite shopping spots, I took full advantage of enjoying all of my favorite stores! (I could have saved way more money if I would have just headed home!) Anyway, Scott stayed in Mitchell to work while I headed home last night with the pups. It felt good to be home but the house is way TOO quiet! It's just so weird not having our little bugaboo around! This morning I slept in (again, should have gotten up to start working on the house) and now I'm catching up on my favorites on my computer while enjoying a cup of super good coffee! Life is good!

The pups have a haircut appointment today but other than that, I am going to focus, focus, focus this afternoon! Scott will be home tonight and we're going out for supper and to a movie (while we should be working on the house!). I can't wait. It is seriously just so nice to be a couple again!

Now that this trip is over we'll be trying to get in routine again. I should try to cook again - I think I forgot how! This weekend I have a MOPS retreat in Hot Springs and then the following weekend Scott is going fishing (against all of my pleading to stay home). Then we'll have some free time all the way until the Rally when we have to get out of our house for our renters to come. I'm looking forward to some down time with no plans!

Have I mentioned that we totally need to re-potty train our dogs?! It is unbelievable! I think this new house has really thrown them off! Jasper went potty on ME yesterday on the way home! I've never had that happen. He had just went potty 40 minutes prior to that so there was NO excuse! UGH! Wish us luck with all of that!!!!!

Well, it's time to plunge into working around here! Wish me luck on that too! Have a good 4th!
