Old MacDonalds Farm

I think I could live on a farm! Ok, without all of the sad, stressful parts - just the animal aspect of it all! We have so much fun when we go to Old Mac's farm! We could stay there for hours (and did)! I took so many fun pictures that I have to share - I'm totally addicted to taking pictures by the way - it's seriously a disease! Here are some of my favorites:

The baby chicks are always our favorite! We go in there numerous times each visit. Nathan became attached to this one in particular. He wouldn't let anyone else hold it unless I made him share. The little chick loved him too - he fell asleep in his arms every time. Last night, after we said bedtime prayers, Nathan said, "I miss Him." I asked whom, thinking he was talking about God possibly. He said, "Fluffer, my baby chick!" It was adorable. He definitely takes after his mama when it comes to animals of any kind!

Paint

Just a special thanks to my parents for secretly dropping me on my head when I was little making me incredibly indecisive as I got older. :o) HA! The painters have to come back when I decide on a paint color for our main level and hallways. I couldn't make up my mind so they had to go work on another job! Is that totally insane or what!!!!!! BUT, the master bedroom is done and I LOVE it! Nathan's room is done too and I really like that color. The master bathroom is done - not my favorite but I can live with it.

Pups

The pups went into the pet doc yesterday for various things...and $350 later, I was able to pick them up! OUCH! Anyway, lil' Jasper got fixed and 7 baby teeth pulled. He's doing way better than Toby ever did but still sore. Toby got all his yearly shots and his teeth cleaned. I swear, he seems worse than Jasper! I think it's the amount of stress he has as soon as we hit the vet's door!

Weather

The weather yesterday and today has been to-die-for! It seems more normal for Rapid. It's so nice to finally have the windows open to enjoy the sounds and fresh air in our little piece of the forest! And because all of the previous owner's curtains have been taken down in preparation for painting, the views are even more breathtaking. Even as we lay in bed at night and look out into the dark, we see the outline of trees with all the city lights glowing behind them - it is AWESOME! Nathan appreciates the views just as much as we do!

Prayer Requests

Please continue to pray for Tristan's husband. They removed the tumor but that's as much as we know at this time. Also, please pray for the Hot Springs forest fire: http://kotatv.com/Global/story.asp?S=6768438. Thanks sooo much!

Ok, now that you're probably bored out of your mind after all of my windy writing and many pictures, hope you enjoy the rest of this beautiful day!
