MOPS Retreat

Just a quick note to say, "THANKS!" to all involved with planning this retreat. I personally had a great time with all of you and LOVE your friendship more than you will ever know! I'm looking forward to having a terrific year with you gals!

POOLSIDE:

Yesterday after we got done with our retreat, I met up with my boys for lunch. After that we headed to the pool and took it easy all afternoon. Scott even let me take a nap in the warm summer sun! Anyway, we went to Parkview Pool (which I've never been to) and it is now my favorite pool in town. They have a diving board! Do you know how long it's been since I jumped off one of those?! Let's just say I was in elementary school - yikes! I forgot my camera and tried begging with Scott to go all the way home to get it - but it obviously didn't work. Nathan looked so adorable jumping off of that diving board. He always did something goofy on his way in. Anyway, we had an AWESOME time together!

After that, Scott headed to Menards while Nathan and I went to Hobby Lobby. I haven't been there for so long (right that down!) and it was fun to see all of their new stuff. I had to get a couple painting tools for the touch ups in our bathroom (ugh!) but picked up some other neat treasures along the way. I wish I didn't love their stuff so much! I was totally excited to see that they are starting to carry "Love Elsie" scrap stuff! YAHOO! Now, if I would only be able to access my scrap stuff and have endless amounts of time to work on it that would be extra great!

PRAYER REQUEST:

A friend of mine, Tristan, needs any and all prayers today as her husband had a seizure last night. They rushed him to ER and they found a large mass in his head. PLEASE pray for them every chance you get! Thanks! Tristan, we are thinking and praying for you and your family!
