Knock! Knock!

Hello.

Anyone home?

How could my last post have been that.long.ago?

Well... considering an enormous life changing event, Christmas, Nathan's birthday and two parties, traveling, a surprise trip to Denver, finals, the beginning of a new semester, a huge indoor rummage, etc. it has been just a tad overwhelming for this pregnant mama!

What?

Did I just say PREGNANT?

How did that happen?

I'm as confused as the rest of you. We found out the news in early December and needless to say, we are still in shock. My tummy, however, is living proof - it has got to be at 18 week epic proportions! (And, no it's not twins - even though it looks like it. We've had numerous ultra sounds.)
(16 weeks)

Most of you already know the news but I am excited to share with the rest of you. Here is a VERY brief recap:

Doctors said this would NEVER happen.

I was fighting my first round of finals and felt... pregnant. Knowing this could not happen, I began self diagnosing. I was positive that I had the smallest amount - that any one human could live through - of carbon monoxide poisoning. We changed the detector and it proved me wrong. (Scott is still laughing.) I went through many other diagnoses and finally took a pregnancy test. Not believing it, we went to the doctor immediately. 7 pregnancy/blood tests later and 3 ultrasounds, still has us in a state of disbelief.

God is obviously the one in control.

And since then, I have been VERY tired and nautious. Like, three or four naps a day tired. And eating everything in sight to console my upset tummy.

No excercise + eating all the time = someone who looks like they are for sure going to have triplets.

Anywho, I am FINALLY starting to feel like my old self. Thank goodness! Even though it will be worth it in the end, that kind of lifestyle can be very depressing!
