Milestone

For years, I've craved having my own booth at a craft show. And for years, I did nothing about it. For years, I had way more time to do it than this year. But, God forbid if I take the easy road. Nope. This year, after almost twenty years of a study-free life, I decided to take the plunge while being a full time college student. Little did I know how busy and crazy my new full-time-college-student-while-being-a-mom-and-a-wife-and-a-homeowner would be.

In reality, I thought about backing out more than 1,018 times even though I loved making every single piece. However, I didn't love all the nights that I went to bed between 1:00 - 4:30 in the morning. It was more-than-hard to focus on school work with this looming over my head. It's much easier to talk yourself into doing fun stuff like crafting over studying, studying, and more studying. Therefore, I wouldn't let myself do much crafting until my study day was complete and the boys were in bed.

However, the thought of checking an item off of my "Bucket List" kept me going. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. And I did. (But not without the help of others... see end of post.) Thank God!

bulletin boards:

picture frames: (on these frames, you put your own personal picture where the 5x7 paper is)

hair bobbies (bobbie pins):
headbands:
scarves and aprons (multiple ones on each dress form):

bracelets:
jewerly:
wall art: (you replace red piece of paper with your own picture on the following canvas)

(Again on this second hoop down and the next picture... you put your own picture there.)

(Your own picture is replaced on this one too.)

bookmarks:
chalkboards:

pillows:

onesies, stocking hats, snowman kits, and girls shirts:
cupcake stands:
cakestands and hats:
bags:
brooches and gift tags:

(I couldn't have made it happen without the help of my parents. They helped me out with last minute details, setting up, and tearing down... it was even more fun with them there!)

((My hubby was also a HUGE help! He helped make the chalk boards, set up, tear down, and also kept the household running while I crafted!))

(((Thanks so much to all my friends who offered to help and who came out to show their support! You are AMAZING! I'm so lucky to know each one of you!)))

((((Special thanks to my cute boots for making me brave enough to present my stuff in front of strangers and friends!)))) :o)
