Finally... I made the time to take Nathan to the falls when we were home visiting Grandma. I've been craving a photo shoot there, with him, for 7 1/2 years.
We spent a good couple of hours walking around exploring and taking pictures. Thankfully Nathan doesn't fight the camera too much. He knows it's a losing battle.
At one point, Nathan spotted some minnows in the water and said in a very determined voice that he was going to catch one. I, on the other hand, pessimistically said that they would be impossible to catch. 
He caught one in seconds.
And in seconds it died. RIP little dude.
Anyway... the little excursion/photo shoot was WELL worth the wait.

Fun pictures - isn't it funny how we procrastinate things for odd reasons and then all the sudden its done, its great and you think: huh... why didn't I do that sooner?!

He's a cutie! Today at our little corner market I saw a bag of dried smelt I think it was. Looked just like that fish, only about 100 dead ones in a bag :faint:
LOL...I have yet to master the "You will sit there until I get the picture I want" voice...how do you do it? LOL!
