Last week Nathan was getting in trouble constantly for not listening to his mom or dad.
Finally on Thursday, Scott had had enough.
He brought Nathan home from Cub Scouts and told him to go up to his room and write, "I will listen to mom and dad" five times.
Nathan was crying. It WAS the end of the world!
He HATES to read and write.
HATES.
We were kinda giggling 'cuz it was so "old school." (Not in front of him.)
So... it was pretty good punishment. It made him practice writing... and it taught him a lesson at the same time.
He's been listening ever since.

Is there a way I can apply this technique to my dog? She never listens! How funny that the writing technique works, great job!
LOL, I might have to give this a try with my 7 year old. He's having listening issues as well!
