FUN Anyway!

We were all packed and ready to go camping. Everything was packed. Everything and then some.

We were waiting to see if some friends were going to join us. They had called the campground and found out they were charging THREE times the normal price because of the Rally. UNBELIEVABLE. They had availability and we’re all locals. Whatever.

So we UNpacked and met them at the pool. And, it was sooooo much fun (like always)!

Their boys had never jumped off of the diving board before... so when the pool cleared out later in the afternoon, all the boys went diving! And the big boys – they were showing all their moves!

As for my (little) boy, he wanted to do a front flip again. Here he is standing at the end trying to be brave enough: But he just couldn't get enough courage this time around... so he decided (last minute) to do the "pencil" instead.

After the pool we went for supper. And that's where the REAL excitement began. You see, their son Jack, well... he's a "CLAW MACHINE" PRO. (Claw machines are those machines that you can maneuver to reach down and grab a stuffed animal.) He studies them from the front and from the sides... and decides just which animal is the best one to go for. And then he goes in for the kill and gets one almost every time! It's seriously a sight to see. So he taught all of us the tricks of the trade!

After who knows how much money later, the boys left with a total of 5 stuffed animals! FIVE!
All weekend, Nathan kept saying stuff like this, "Man, those claw machines are fun.” And, "Man, those claw machines are addicted to me."

Anyway... it wasn't camping but it was SUPER FUN anyway!
