Retired!

Friday marked last day of kindergarten for Nathan! (It was also sno-cone Friday, which helped make it EXTRA special!)

I now have a first grader!

Unbelievable!

Anyway... we were talking about his day as we climbed in the car. I expressed that I couldn't believe he was going to be in first grade! He said, "Yeah. I'm going to have to call Grandma and tell her that I retired!" Ummm... you mean graduated? Yes, that's what he meant! :o)

BRAGGING MOMENT:

After school, I was thanking Nathan's teacher for being so very awesome... she said, "Well, thanks for giving me such great material to work with!"

I haven't quit smiling ever since!

I'm definitely a proud mama!

CELEBRATION:

To celebrate his AWESOME report card and his wonderful comments on his report card... we let Nathan decide where to go eat for supper. Pizza Hut. Then we went to the Narnia movie - Prince Caspian. Very good. Different than I had expected, but good. After that, we headed to Toys R Us for a little something special. It was a great night.
