I totally want to break out in song singing Diana Ross - "I Will Survive" but I'll spare you all of that. Especially since I'd be humming most of it while slipping a word or two in between because I really don't know much of the song...
Anyway,
I'm totally proud to say that I, for the first time in over a week, did the following today and yesterday:
* Drove
* Attended MOPS
* Got gas (for the car)
* Laundry
* Put makeup on
* Wore something other than sweats or pj's. (I decided to wear jean capri's. Yeah, that does make a lot of sense with tummy surgery and all... ripped them off the minute I walked in the door from Mops. Lesson learned.)
* Walked about a mile (not willingly to catch Jasper - who is too darn cute for his own good. And might I add that mile is about a mile more than I've walked in a week. The furthest I have gone would be about 15 steps.)
* Fixed my hair
* Took the peanut to school
* Wore jewelry
* Made meals - kid friendly or not - they were meals.
And then I took a big ol' pain pill for over doing it.
But boy did it feel good to be somewhat normal again!
