Big Surprise!

The day FINALLY came! And, so unexpectedly! Nathan was brushing his teeth when he heard something hit the sink. He looked down and it was one of his bottom teeth! Unbelievable! It didn't even look THAT loose. It definitely wasn't hanging by a thread - but whatever or however, Nathan lost his first tooth today on March 19, 2008 at approximately 11:55AM!

We had to leave for school right away after it happened. While I was driving him to school, I kept looking at him. He would turn and look at me, and then open his mouth in a huge toothless grin and then we'd both start laughing. This continued the entire 1/2-mile to school. After he got out and closed the door, he turned to me one last time and grinned again. It was priceless!

I was so excited for him. He's waited for this day for so long. But on the flip side, it seems barely possible that he could be old enough to lose a tooth! That makes me sad. It has gone so fast.

... Such a momentous day. I love being able to share these events with him!P.S. I hope the tooth fairy REMEMBERS!
