Have YOU noticed?

That all bloggers are:

* Out of things to say
* Full of randomness - because they are out of things to say
* Taking a break
* Fighting some sort of sick in their household

I'm no exception! Wow....me without things to say...Scott would definitely say that is a FIRST...an all time record!

I went home this weekend...super last minute. My sister flew in without hubby or pup...I flew in (by car) without 3 pups, 1 cute 6-year old, or hubby. It was an "ORIGINAL" weekend as she put it. ( Just the original people in our family.)

It was divine.

A cherished weekend like no other.

A "must-do" each year.

NEEDED.

Jackie and I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning, cuddled in the same bed, chatting nonstop until we noticed it was 4:00. It was AWESOME! Just like old-pre-additional-family-member-times.

We had an awesome gathering at my Grandpa's new apartment with all of our relatives...events with my family are always so awesome - because we truly do have the very best family! AND my Grandpa seemed to be doing well, which in itself, was a HUGE blessing.

The four originals even went shopping at our favorite artsy shops that we swear are the best throughout Minnesota, Colorado, and South Dakota. My dad even went with us - lucky guy. We loved having him there. Although he despises the art of shopping, I think he secretly enjoyed it. Oh, did I mention while we were in the ever-so-cute downtown district...Jackie and I got NAILED, by a passerby pulling a trailer, with MUDDY water as we stood by a crosswalk waiting to cross the street? It could NOT have been much worse. We had wet shoes, pants, purses, AND coats....and since it was muddy...it didn't exactly dry clean. I had just said, "We're gonna get nailed." And as we were in the midst of scooting back from the water, it happened...witnesses and all. Words were flying from my sister's mouth at a very loud volume. And as I stood there in shock, I started thinking about how funny it would have been to witness it...especially from the rear view mirror of the JA that did it. Jackie didn't think it was nearly as funny as I did. Nor did my parents.

Anywho, it was a great weekend with three of my deerest, bestest friends ever!

I'm so very lucky.

I have to laugh. When I was pregnant with Cameron, (HUGE PREGNANT) I got hit with slush on my way to meet Randy for lunch at the Alex Johnson. It was cold and nasty, but I laughed so hard, mostly because I laugh when I see it happen to others. I don't know why...just like I laugh when I see people fall. It may not even be funny, but I just do.

I feel your pain though!

Are you truly out of things to say? My husband wishes that were the case. I am normally out of time to say it. Then again, my hubby is gone, and I have no one to talk to...

Ok, Im rambling.
