Snips and Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails...

I love the kind of weekends when you can just spend time getting some of the little things done. This was one of those weekends! Ahhhhhhh...it felt good. You remember Nathan's puppy themed bathroom, right? Remember the pup above that I found in Boulder? He was my inspiration for this bathroom...and maybe my real-life little pups too. Then I've slowly added these accessories:

Anyway, I picked up this frame at an antique store in Denver and I came home and had a mirror put in it. I changed out the too-small mirror and put this 36-inch square mirror in Nathan's bathroom...and then while I was on the thinking throne - you know the place where some of the best ideas come to you? Anyway, I decided to embellish the mirror with rub-ons that I already had in my stash. It reads: Snips and Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails, that's what little boys are made of. The thing was a super easy but time consuming - however, I had MANY interruptions. Anyway, I think it's just what the doctor, um I mean, bathroom ordered.

I'll post more pics as I add stuff - I'm almost done. Just a few more things. And, I think I need to add this quote above the doorway: A Place to Bark. Wouldn't that be cute? I got the idea from Tim Holtz's blog: http://www.timholtz.typepad.com/ And, A Place to Bark is an animal rescue place - LOOOOVE that!
