On Saturday we met my cousin and her family at Deer Mountain for a fun filled day of sledding! We arrived, got our gear on, and then realized that with all of the packing I did that morning, I somehow forgot to pack Nathan's winter coat. How could that be? Well, I'll tell ya...Santa never did deliver my memory like I asked for. UGH! Luckily, one of the girls let him use the shell to her coat and all was well. And boy was it fun! It was such a good day for it and we were cruising FAST down that hill. So fast that by the time we were leaving someone got hurt (not in our bunch) so they had to rough it up a bit. Man, was it fun.

We also brought Nathan's snowboard so he could give it a try for the first time since Santa delivered it (he got what he asked for). There was a nice little hill next to where we were tubing and the kids had a blast with that too. The adults, not so much!

As we were about to leave the resort, we noticed that WE had a flat tire. No problem-o...they had a shop there and put air in it for us so off we went to eat buffet at the Pizza Ranch. It was oh-so-yummy! And they had an arcade area where the kids had some more fun and the adults got to B.S. for a couple of hours UNTIL I started getting sick. No worries, for some reason it only lasted a few hours and I was good as new as the evening rolled around just in time to cuddle in and watch a couple of movies with the hubby. We watched "Chuck and Larry" and "Mr. Brooks"...neither of which were my favorite but I'd watch any movie with Kevin Costner or Adam Sandler.

Anyway, even with the little bumps in the day, it was...perfect.
