Old Dudds!

We ended up staying in last night with movies and Chinese. Yep, had that mustard-y sauce again with my egg rolls - love it! And this time, I controlled my urges to dip my finger in the container to get every last drop - last time I got a MAJOR tummy ache (this stuff is hotter than any horse radish I've ever tasted!). Anyway, we missed our annual event with some very fun game-playing friends...and stayed in. I secretly loved every minute (although I missed our buddies). It's just nice to stay home especially after being gone for a week. And surprisingly, Scott and I did manage a smoochy at midnight just in time to roll over and snore the night away!

Got about 4 hours to myself yesterday...because let me tell ya... when this house is that messy, I AM CRABBY! I shoved the boys out the door with a few errands and a date at the ice skating rink. You should have seen how fast I moved and how much I got done. I didn't even know that I could move that fast! Anyway, got all the Christmas presents put away...and all of the shopping stuff put away...and even the Christmas decor put away! Oh, did I mention that I did numerous loads of laundry too? Ahhhh... and the boys timed it perfectly as I was folding the last load and finished with all else. Needless to say, I was MUCH nicer and happier...and the crabby monster was GONE! As sad as I was to see the Christmas stuff put away...I'm really thankful it's just done and everything is back in normal position!

So, I'm really going to try some good, true, and can-even-possibly-do New Year's Resolutions. Here goes:

1. Drink more water. ALOT more water.... since I literally go days without drinking ANY!
2. No more Coke's unless we're out to eat.
3. Limit Hobby Lobby visits to once a month, if that. I HATE giving them our money - their service SUCKS, their store is dirty, and the non-scanning, arguing old bitty's checkout and return process about sends me through the roof! On average, I would say I'm there at least twice a week....so this is going to be a BIG change.
4. Eat less.
5. Get this remodeling project DONE once and for all!

And let me just mention, that these don't start until tomorrow....it's still vacation for pete's sake!

Happy New Year's to you and yours! Enjoy the day! We're thinking of Fred Clause or the Bee Movie today - maybe both - that would be fun!!!!! I'm also thinking we should eat out again since I don't want to get groceries until tomorrow! Anyway, have a good one!
