Made With Love

for Grandpa Terry! Nathan got this Lego set for his birthday and I had so much fun putting it together. He ran out and got himself the typical 6- year-old boy version of A.D.D. so I ended up putting most of it together myself....and I truly LOVED every minute of it! Lego's and I get along great! They have super easy instructions that even I can understand UNLIKE some very complex transformer sets! Anywho, Grandpa T is a bigwig car nut so this is for him. I let Nathan put on the final touches - the wheels/tires. He thinks it's pretty darn cool. It even warrants taking for show and tell, which is the ULTIMATE compliment!

Last year around this time, Grandpa T put together this for Nathan. (I must get my amazing Lego-sense from him. HA!)
COFFEE DATE
Had a coffee date with a dear friend at Borders today. It was SO nice to see her! Life just gets busy for us and time slips away...so it seemed like forever since I had seen her. Anyway, we exchanged Christmas presents today and I just have to share some pictures of these amazing gifts that I just TOTALLY love! She bought the "dog/bone" frame and then thought it looked plain so she added the glitter around the edges...so cute! And the scarf...she bought the fleece scarf but added the flower and button embellishments! This girl is talented people! And boy does she know my taste...I LOVE it all! Thanks girly-friend for a wonderful afternoon! It was SO good to see ya!
