Let the Christmas wrapping begin...

or marathon, should I say?!Lord, please forgive me for my sins: I forgot to start the Christmas music when I started wrapping!!!!!! Ok, honestly I did start it but didn't realize it wasn't playing (it was on MUTE) for at least 10 minutes....Lord, could you also PLEASE give me my memory back?! It seemed to have gotten lost the minute I gave birth.

Gotta share my two most recent holiday classics that I downloaded from iTunes: Lorrie Morgan - "My Favorite Things" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Vanessa Williams and Bobby Caldwell. Mmmmm, they're good!

Scott officially has my Christmas list. We are exchanging TONIGHT so he thought maybe he should go out TODAY! I don't even cut things that close! Ok maybe I do since I'm wrapping right now and we're opening tonight! I wonder how many guys will be out today and tonight?! Anywho, I threw in a request for some vintage children's ice skates from an antique store. Which one you ask? I don't know...haven't found any - thought maybe he'd want the privilege of seeking them out - he laughed, and said that definitely wouldn't be a gift I was getting! Come on, where is the Christmas spirit?!

I SO want to do this outside on our deck - isn't it just a wonderful idea? This picture is from "This Art That Makes Me Happy" blog.--Thanks for the inspiration Vicki! I wish I had my childhood ice skates - sigh. My mother is a get ridder of everything and a thrower away person (ok, so am I and I wouldn't trade it for the world). BUT, it's times like this that I wish we would have had this idea years ago! Gotta love ya mom - and give you a hard time...remember when you... Just kidding!

Happy Wrapping!
