I'm done. packed. car loaded. so very ready to enjoy the holiday now that I'm ready.

* laundry (again). Check!
* cleaning (again). Check!
* wrapping. Check!
* returns. Did some not all. 1/2 check!
* pups need a bath. Check!
* Christmas shopping. Check!
* making beds. Check!
* picking up. Check!
* cleaning out Nathan's toy boxes. Dang. No check.
* unloading the dishwasher. Check!
* updating mops finances. No check.
* balancing my checkbook. Check!
* cleaning the car. Didn't need it that bad anyway.
* cleaning jasper's kennel. Check!
* sorting gifts into Santa and non-Santa. Check!
* returning phone calls. Check!
* filing receipts. Check!
* library books on CD for the trip. Check!
* tree bag. Check!
* write Thank-you's. Check!
* groceries. Check!
* vacuum furniture. Check!

I'd say that's pretty darn good - all that while entertaining an almost 6-year old that can't seem to EVER find anything to do. Women are amazing. Moms are amazing. I honestly don't know how we get everything done. Rock on girls!

Tomorrow morning we leave - in about 7 hours to be exact and I need to be up in 5! But, I couldn't help checking my favorite blogs - it winds me down from going NON-STOP all day long. Anyway, I'm so looking forward to being in the car and officially being on our way. Nathan is too...he said as much to me today. He's sick of his mom having more than the usual to do...cuz, God forbid if he played anything by himself. He needs a sibling....but remember God knows best and he hasn't given us one...oh sorry...got off track...
