Peter Pan

On Friday night, Nathan and I scurried the stores for supplies to make his Peter Pan costume. When all was bought, we came home, stayed up late, and made his entire costume. It was surely a night I will never forget...A bonding moment like no other. I was going to put him to bed while I worked on it...you know, so I could just get the thing done without distractions...but instead his excitement won me over and I let him help in little ways. At the end he just wanted to sit on my lap while I sewed. And the best part of it all is that HE likes it. I was so nervous, because he is SO picky, that he wouldn't like it...but he DOES! It was truly a night to remember!

Now, he wants Scott to be Hook and me to be Tinkerbell. The adult costumes are so expensive and to me it's just not worth it. BUT after I made Peter Pan, I realized that it would truly be the most perfect Halloween because our small family of 3 would work so well. Maybe, just maybe, I'll attempt to make ours. ??? Time is running out QUICKLY!

And let it be said, I'm so excited that Nathan picked Peter Pan instead of a super hero or scary-something. I love Peter Pan and so does he. We love the movie and we also love the movie Hook. For that, in addition to the above comments, I think I will treasure this Halloween season more than any other.

Happy Halloween Season!
