Bye-Bye Pony Tail!

Ahhhh...as much as I dread the time consuming process of getting my hair cut and colored (it's always around 3 hours!), I love the feeling of a fresh hair cut and brighter color. Today, I decided to chop around 4 inches off! It feels so good! I can't tell if I like it for sure since I haven't fixed it myself yet...but at least I'll have something different to work with every day and that itself is a very nice thought. I love my hair person, Mandy...she is so sweet and so is the gal that works next to her. I think I have even talked the other gal into scrappin' with me next month. She's a die-hard scrapper too! Looovvvve that! What did you say, where is the picture of the new goldilocks? Ha, NEVER! I hate, hate, hate having my picture taken. The only way that happens is if Nathan or my annoying mother steels the camera....and neither is here! :o)

NATHAN
While I was getting my hair done today, Scott ran an errand over to my cousin Lisa's. He came home without my baby! They asked him to stay and slumber the night. I can only imagine the excitement in his eyes! We did meet them for supper at the Olive Garden and he didn't even notice my hair! I thought he would be shocked but he was too busy giving me absolutely no attention to notice! Anyway, I don't know how I'm going to let him ever grow up...started crying tonight because I missed him! Honestly...is that necessary?! Scott and I need this time and we did enjoy watching two movies in the ol' (new) gordostyle theatre! :o) I must admit, it was cool to hear the sound effects but I would still be content watching it on my laptop. :o)

SOCCER
Today marked the end of Nathan's soccer season possibly forever! He didn't do too well the last two games. It started a couple of weeks ago when the other team was kicking their hiney and he wasn't able to make any goals...he just broke down. Lost it. Couldn't get back into it. It was crazy. Then we took last week off and now today he went out there like nothing happened the last time UNTIL he fell (it was super slippery on the grass because it was raining). You'd think he would have broken his leg! It started all over again and we had to do everything in our powers to make him finish the game for his team. Whoofta, kind of glad it's over...I just hope this doesn't continue with every sport in the future!

LATE
Holy cow, it's late! I don't ever stay up this late anymore. And, I can even sleep in...sorry Lisa, you'll probably be getting up at the butt crack of dawn with my baby there! I can just see the excitement of still being there when he wakes up! He darn well better be excited to come home! I think I must be dreaming for that to happen! :o)

Oh, and I even made it through 2 movies! Holy cow! As much as I ate at the Olive Garden, I didn't expect to be awake by the time we got home! We watched: We Are Marshall and Premonition. Both were very good. Ok, to bed fred...g'night!
