Preschool Grad!

We attended Nathan's preschool graduation last night. How can he be done with preschool already? I find it extremely hard to believe that my son will be in kindergarten next year! I don't know about you, but that doesn't sit well with me at all! Anyway, back to the graduation, it was very cute. However, Scott started to record it on our video camera and found out the battery wasn't charged so we didn't get it taped - ugh! I was very thankful to have my camera and thent it died about 1/3 of the way through the ceremony! How does that happen to a scrapbooker? That's sinful! Anyway, they presented awards to each student and Nathan received the "Most Outstanding Athlete" award! That fits him so well!

We bought Nathan a special dessert for the evening (pictured below). It's a personal cake made out of 2 cupcakes. How cute is that????? I fell in love the minute I saw them - and let me tell ya, it wasn't an easy choice on which puppy to buy!

We're off to Sioux Falls tomorrow afternoon for a wedding shower and a graduation. I'm so excited to see my family! It seems like forever since I've seen them and even longer since I've been home! BUT, do I really have to pack?

Nathan, the pups, and I had a great day today. We needed to be out of our house all day because the carpets were getting cleaned and stretched. We left at 8:00am and returned at 3:00pm. It was such a weird day. We were actually thinking of stuff to do to "waste" time. That never happens. We're always on a tight schedule. We spent the majority of the day at the dog park, Sioux Park, the pet store, and Borders. We ate at Nick & Willy's for lunch and treated ourselves to Eileen's Colossal Cookies for dessert. It was so relaxing. Our dogs are beat! Oh, and our carpet looks like new - well worth the money.

Ok, off to bed - g'night! (Oh, how I wish I had just one more cookie for a bedtime snack!)

One more thing...In case I don't have time to "blog" on Monday: We miss all of our loved ones in Heaven more than I can put into words! We love you just as much now as we ever did!!!!!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXO's........
