Let It Be Said....
That I am extremely thankful for all of my family and friends. I am even more thankful for the health and good life each of us has. I just heard of an extremely unfair and super sad story about the death of a 28-year-old mom of 3 young children that lives four houses down from us. I just can't help but be so very thankful for what I have and who I have in my life. My heart and prayers go out to that family!!!! I have a picture downstairs that says: "Things happen for a reason, just believe." I am continually questioning the big man above when things like this happens and then I remind myself of this saying and that of my mom who always says "we're not meant to understand." I truly have faith that God does know best but it's sooooo hard when it's not what I want to hear. God Bless each of you....and be thankful for those around you!

I'm so deeply saddened by this news. Lisa told me about it earlier in the week, and it's just so hard to "wrap my head around it". She emailed me a link to Becky and Lillie's page at the funeral home - it's a very touching tribute to her and her baby girl. And there are some very nice notes in the Guest Book area - with a really beautiful one written by one of Becky's childhood friends. I just noticed that I spelled little Lillian's name incorrectly. It looks like they also referred to her as Lily.
Holy cow, I can't stop the tears! I just don't understand. But you're right, a very nice tribute and those comments are so very heartfelt! I can't help but wish I would have known her. She seems like she was a truly good person!
