I know many of you have not seen Gilmore Girls and are probably sick of me writing about them... but it's my blog and as stupid as it may sound.... all the characters on that show (153 shows to be exact) became my friends.Last night I watched the 153rd episode. I have tears in my eyes as I type this... and I bawled uncontrollably last night because it was over. It was pathetic. (And I'm more than happy to know that's all I have to cry about!) In fact, at 3 in the morning, I woke Scott up because I was so upset... and after he comforted me for awhile and then I started bawling all over again... we both laughed at me. I was that pathetic. And after he fell asleep, I cried myself to sleep.
Today I feel lost knowing that my "happy place splurge" is over with. No book or song or movie or TV show has, or ever will, compare to my time spent with them. (Now life, on the other hand, does... I'm talking fiction.)
I LOVED every single character on that show. They made me laugh, cry, and feel just happy watching them. Every time an episode was over with, I was so in awe of the story line and the talented writer of this show.
So, go ahead... laugh at me... I don't care. Until you've watched every single show, you don't know that you wouldn't feel the exact same way! :o)

I'm going ahead and laughing at you... now get back to your homework! :) Love ya!
I LOVE not only that you woke your hubby up but that he comforted you too!!
I do enjoy that show but was not a die hard fan.. but it is sad its over for you :(
time for greys!!
Ugh. I'm watching the last one in 5 minutes and I'm so sad.
Totally feeling your pain.
I watched it as much as I could when it was on (unfortunately, it was on the same night that I had classes). Loved that show. I have all of the seasons on DVD (gotten on sale quite a while ago) and I would love to have time to rewatch them all at some point. Such a great, witty show.
One of my friends had a little party & we all watched the last episode together. Miss that show!
My daughter and I watched the reruns every afternoon on ABC Family until we saw them up to the point where new ones were still airing on Tuesday nights. We love them. My daughter is studying to be a nurse (May!) and she got into Grey's Anatomy after that. But to me nothing can compare to GG.
