This is what we've loved/learned/accomplished/done this year, so far:
For US:
* Evening episodes of Brady Bunch & Gilligan's Island
* Hart Ranch
For NATHAN:
* The "nut cup"
* Little House on the Prairie breaks this summer
* Pet Fish
* Pet Frog
* Pet Hamster
* 1st Science Fair
* 1st year of basketball
* Colored his hair BLUE and PINK for Crazy Hair Day
* Favorite Song: Fireflies by Owl City
* Read his first ever book series, 'Diary of Wimpy Kid'
* Flip-flops (he would never wear them before... drove me nuts!)
* Lost SEVERAL teeth (including 2 molars)
* Learned to master his ripstick
* Went to his first family reunion
* Bought fireworks for the first time!
* His first trip to our state capitol
For ME:
* Quitting FedEx
* Taking the plunge to start school
* Applying for my first student loan
* Arizona Girl Trip
* House of Hope book series
* My first P.F. Chang experience (to die for)
* My first iPad
* Gilmore Girls
* Becoming 4 eyes
For SCOTT:
* A pickup... finally
* Celebrating his first year anniversary of his business
* Winning a fishing tourney
* Experiencing the miracle of life by surviving what could have been a fatal car accident
At 8 1/2:
* Nathan still cuddles when he is tired or sick but only during those times
* Won't hold my hand in public
* Likes me to tickle him before he goes to sleep or first thing in the morning
* Loves breakfast in bed especially scrambled eggs with ketchup
* Gets more excited about reading but really, REALLY hates to admit it
* Still doesn't give much care about video games
* TV or movies is his favorite pastime (unfortunately!!!!)
* Is becoming obsessed with sleeping with his mom and dad
