Stuff

The last two times that Nathan was told he had to wear gloves to school (today being one of them - it's freezing here today), I caught him wearing just one glove.  Oh, he has several PAIRS of gloves that consist of 2 per pair (hence the word pair).  He thinks it's cool.  ???  Honey, it's NOT. Michael Jackson died and went to... well, we don't know where he went to for sure.  Let's put it this way... I loved the 80's... and I try to bring stuff back from my childhood -- like Atari, music, and games... BUT we stop at the one glove thing.  It's a NO-NO!   (PLEASE leave me a comment telling my your kids do the same thing so I know I'm not alone and VERY scared at my child's mental well-being.)

Jasper & Toby have this new thing going on lately.  They fight over who gets to sit where on my lap while I drink my coffee and read my blogs.  It is stinkin' hilarious!  You see, it's always been Jasper's spot but lately Toby thinks it's his -- or maybe he's just trying to annoy his little brother. (It's working.)  When Jasper doesn't get his way, he barks at Toby. Toby still doesn't move and so Jasper leaves.  He can't just sit where there is room on my lap.  Nope.  If he doesn't get his favorite spot, he barks and growls, and then leaves.

The other day the family and I were at my all time favorite store (TJMaxx).  We were getting ready to leave and I asked Scott if he had looked at the men's clearance racks yet.  He hadn't so I went through the stuff on one rack and moved on to the next one.  He was still in the regular priced section when he came over, moved in very close to me, and said, "Come on.  Let's go." Only it wasn't me.  It was some other lady at the first rack, whom he didn't know!  HA!  I looked up from the second rack and said, "You know that's not your wife, right?"  Um... let's just say his face was redder than I had ever seen it and Nathan and I laughed all the way home!  :o)

P90X:  Started this workout last night.  Not so much fun.  I'm sore today.  (I feel so ungrateful for having a body that can exercise but HATES to.)  I get nothing from it. I despise it.  Every second of it makes me crabby.  I hate making the time to do it.  And, I hate that it makes me shower twice a day -- which takes even more time out of my day.  My neck hurts from it.  (I don't need more stuff to make my neck hurt.)  The entire time I was doing it, Scott was behind me telling me I wasn't doing stuff right.  Gee - that made me enjoy it even more.  If I'd stop to take a 3 second break, he was right there telling me to keep going. Rrrrrgh.  Exercising ranks right there with eating peas.
