((And let the counting stop there so my baby doesn't turn EIGHT the day after Christmas!))
In December, I try really hard to do something a little special each night of the month. Tonight our plan was to personally deliver each of Nathan's birthday invitations and then race home, get homework done, shower, and watch The Santa Clause 1 movie. Then it changed to: Polar Express instead. In reality, we did the homework, showered, ate supper, delivered his birthday invitations (all over town - while playing Christmas tunes and drinking hot cocoa), and it was already 8:00 (aka bedtime) when we got home!
So, we decided we should play FROGGER for a bit.
(It just arrived in the mail today... and this mama was more than a little excited to pop it in the PS3 and introduce Nathan to yet another great lil' thing about the 80's.) But right then, the big daddy-o arrived home, saw it, and ran downstairs to be the first player!

But right then, the big daddy-o arrived home, saw it, and ran downstairs to be the first player! Anywho, it was a hit to say the least! We all loved it (and may or may not have fought like children on whose turn it was). Now it's 10:00 and Nathan is just getting tucked in by the Frogger champion himself (Scott).
Well it might not have been Christmas stuff, like I had hoped, but it sure was great family time! And we may have just started a new Gordostyle addiction!
P.S. I SWEAR to those of you that know me that I don't dress or wear my hair like I did in the 80's.... and if I did wear my hair like that... the ozone layer would completely be gone by now from all the AquaNet hairspray! Eeek!
P.P.S. Wanna see Nathan's birthday invitations? Here's a little prep first:
* It's at a water park.
* The theme is fish. (Nathan IS a fish and LOVES to fish!)
* The tag has the birthday party info on the other side and it is tied on with fishing string (of course).
