Newest Additions

The weather has officially turned to fall around here with cooler temps, crisp air, scattered sprinkles, and leaves a blowing like crazy.

All of that means it's time to break out the fall decor.  And Nathan knows just that.  As soon as the weather turned this way on Sunday, he knew it was time too.  (In this household, it's illegal to decorate for fall unless the temps are crisp and cool!)

Much of my fall decor has been the same for the past few years with my favorites including a halloween frame of Nathan in his halloween costume each year.  (It is so fun to look back at every year and see how much he has changed!)

Each year I try to keep an eye out for something new to add to our fall trimmings... and my heart skips a beat when I find that "one thing."  That "I LOVE LOVE LOVE" thing.  And this year it was this garland:
$6.99 my friends and so worth every single penny!  The beaded stuff was mine from before.  It's the wood stuff that was added this year!  I absolutely love to look at it!  I want more of it!  I want to put it on Nathan's headboard too - but this was the one and only package I found - darn it. (Meant to be though!)
I also found this candle stick at a rummage for a buck.  I didn't love it but thought I could paint it and use it somewhere (like Scott's office) but when I was getting out all the fall stuff, it looked so right - so fallish.  :o)
There you have it... wasn't that exciting? HA!

I wish I had your ambition when it came to decorating...I bet it always looks "festive" at your house. Great finds though!

I am not into it at all...I have a mirror, 3 picture frames, and a quote hanging on my walls. I think I have something in the bathroom too...a glass hanger with a verse on it.

If I looked at a picture from 3 years ago, everything would probably still be the same...lol...maybe dustier now...lol

Love the garland! I'm getting ready to get my fall stuff out, but it's TOO HOT to get in the shed. Go figure.
