As he was backing out of the driveway, I ran outside in my pj's, hair in a pony, NO bra, un-bathed for two days and started trying to get his attention. It wasn't working... he was paying too much attention to safely backing up through the snow on the street.
I resorted to desperate measures: waving my arms, kicking my legs, TOTALLY pretending I was doing some cheerleader cheer from 1991... Kicking my legs up in the air, clapping under my legs, while up in the air (it was cool 18 years ago). And... It worked. He was smiling BIG as he pulled back into the driveway to tell me...
I HAD AN AUDIANCE.
The neighbors were out shoveling their driveway.
What? I looked over and they were staring. Mouths open. (Probably still are.)
Um. Hi. Sorry about that.
And then I ran into the garage and shouted to him that we needed milk.
I don't know who was more red, him or me.
He laughed all the way to the store.
I'm still red.
Please try to think of something else.
Here's Nathan's snow fort for the day:
And, I found his artwork on the grill:
Now... erase all mention of this from your mind!
Go.
Get.
This MAY be erased tomorrow.

That is awesome! Love the mental picture! You're so stinkin' cute that I'm sure no one thought anything of it. :) I also had to laugh about Nathan's fort - we have one JUST exactly like it, with a nearly identical picture of the boys in it. Great minds think alike - ? I'll post it today so you can see . . .
Hilarious - almost as good as the time you got stuck in the shirt in the Gap dressing room & had to get cut out :)
I was not-so-secretly hoping to see a re-enacted picture!
I'm laughing too much to be able to forget....
I am laughing so hard! What a great post. I can just picture it all in my mind. I bet you sure brightened up the neighbors' day. :) Gave them something to talk about.
That is hilarious! Have you seen your neighbors since? LOL...
I am going to chuckle about this for a while!
