75 degrees.
Sunny.
Slight breeze.
B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.
We headed to a small but adorable town about an hour away.
Bikes loaded.
Windows down.
Spring in our spirit.
Tummy's hungry.
We met for a super yummy lunch and then hit the trails.
It was the best trail ever. Flat. Lots of parks. Beautiful scenery. Trees budding. Sound of a full creek flowing. Etc.!
We had so much fun petting this horse.

And he/she really liked it, as you can see with his big Mr. Ed grin:
(How can such a beautiful animal ruin everything beautiful when it smiles? Yuck-O! Can you say, toothbrush?!)
((I swear no animals were hurt while taking these pictures. He was completely doing this on his own.))
Then we encountered this stare down between a squirrel and a cat... sitting motionless... no one wanting to make the first move:
And today... no school.
SNOW DAY.
I'm completely serious!
Go figure.

wow! we did have a similar day! love it!!!!
That's about how our weather has been! Although we are in CA so no snow here in the valley. We went from 80's back down to 50's and wind/rain. Talk about confusing when you are trying to get the kids dressed in the morning.
I love days like that! :) Jen
