Total Randomness!

So... you know my sick computer?

Yeah?

Well, it's STILL sick.

If I move it the slightest bit, it turns off.

Sometimes I don't even have to move it and it turns off.

Well, I backed up my important stuff like my music, my photos, and our finances.

Now... I have NO photo's on my computer whatsoever.

None.

In fact... there isn't even a Photo Library folder in my iPhoto anymore.

I think that's probably REALLY bad.

Now... I'm super scared to put new pics on my computer for fear that they will not be in correct order with my other pics.

So here I sit, all week, with CUTE pics of this past weekend on my memory disk in my camera - wanting to blog and share - but can't.

Maybe tomorrow I'll have more courage.

Oh and one more thing... I miss the mobility of my laptop.

TONS!

OK... moving on:

* We now have a new pet: A ladybug. Nathan found it crawling on my bedroom wall. What the ... ??? Where did it come from? Anywho... she/he doesn't have a name yet but we've enjoyed watching her in her new home, which by the way, we decorated just for her with rocks and grass and beads of water ever few hours. I would post a picture of the new family member -- but... well, you know (see above).

* Sam (the BIG dog) got caught in a battle of kookaburras (Is that the correct spelling?) this past weekend during his first pheasant hunting season. HE LOST. It must have been bad for his bid daddy to leave in the middle of opening day -- in the middle of the pasture -- to drive 20 miles to the nearest small city to get some clippers to shave his hair OFF. However, he looks super cute withOUT his wire-y hair and whiskers. Looks more puppy-ish. Sure wish I could post a picture of his new look.

* 'The Memory Keepers Daughter' is the latest book that I just finished. Good. BUT it just made me feel sad and depressed. I don't know why. It didn't apply to me but that's what it did to me. Next up... a feel good LIGHT read that doesn't make you search so deep into your soul. Sure wish Yada Yada had some more books in the series. They are still my all time favorite books!

* Nathan and Scott are reading 'Where the Red Fern Grows' together. I would share pictures... but WHATEVER. Anyway, it's pretty cute. BUT I'm super nervous about getting to the sad part. I KNOW we will all be bawling BIG time!

* The World Series started last night. Scott and I make special plans to watch this every year together. Last night, he fell asleep and I bawled for hours while reading the last few chapters in my book. Who won? Was it a good game?

* The flooring people are coming today to give us an estimate. I'm scared. VERY scared. I can't even begin to imagine how much this is going to set us back. Can't I just win a contest somewhere to give me free flooring of my choice?

* Speaking of scared. I just can't seem to send my computer to Apple. The Geek Squad won't touch it. When, exactly, would be a good time to let your computer go? NEVER!

OK... I need to jump in the shower so I don't scare the flooring guys away FOREVER.
