In Camping News:

Camping IS better with Coffee.

AND Internet.

AND water.

AND cable.

AND sewer.

AND phone coverage.

AND super comfy lounge chairs. (I may not move.)

This is MY kind of camping.

Even Scott will admit that it's his kind too!

Camping is NOT good when:

You forget your camera!

It's raining and dark when you get there.

You have to take puppies out to go potty and poo-poo when it's raining and dark and MUDDY.

You forget the grill. (Scott's fault.)

When you fall off the top bunk in the middle of the night. (Thank God Nathan is OK -- I don't know how he didn't get hurt!)

When you forget the fan and you hear EVERY noise during the night.

When you forget the fan and the dogs bark and growl at every noise during the night.

When you don't have a fire pit (no camp fires allowed here - we won't be back).

When everyone is looking at your hubby the next morning because he snored so loud that the entire campground was awake ALL night long.

And when everyone is looking at me because I didn't stop the snoring. What they don't know is that I tried EVERYTHING! Even plugging his nose -- and he wouldn't wake up for nothing! He's sleeping in the Tahoe tonight -- down the road about 7 miles.

With bad and good -- we wouldn't trade any of it for the world! And we're extremely happy to have nothing bigger to complain about. Our prayers go out to all the people in Texas!!!!!
