WHATEVER!
Here we go...
These are a couple of cards that I am going to frame in Nathan's puppy bathroom:
Cheap art at only $3 each. AND, I already have some frames that I just need to paint!
Here are a couple of cards that will hang from my shutters in scrap land:
:
Look at this tray from Crate and Barrel:
Too cute! And 1/2 off -- 12 bucks! The possibilities are endless with this. I can't decide where to put it though. Should it set on my kitchen table with stuff on/in it? Should I decorate it with scrap stuff? Should it house scrap supplies in scrap land? Should I put it on an old railing post and make it a birdbath for outside? All I know is that it's not hiding in a cupboard waiting for me to entertain - because we all know that will NEVER happen!
Looooove these:
They are gong to be bath towel hooks in the never-ending-bathroom-remodel-when-it-ever-gets-finished project!
Oh and check out the cute bag that they came in:
And to think I was trying to save a tree (see -- going green!) by saying that I could stick them in my other bag -- good thing the clerk told me that I might want one anyway --- because they are that cute! Man, I love cute things.
Oh... and let's not forget that we went to my most favorite vintagey, antiquey, some-things-aren't-really-old-and-are-from-Hobby Lobby store: The Patina. My favorite! I could spend hours in there! There is so much to look at. Every time I go in there, I remind myself that I don't get paid enough for being a mom, housewife, maid, errand runner, grocery shopper, cooker (can I really call myself that?), bill payer, event planner, nanny, car pool, laundry machine, volunteer, scrap booker, decorator, remodel-er, bed maker, kid entertainer, dog-hair-everywhere-picker-upper, dog runner, dog care-taker, crafter, organizer, ETC!
Anyway... back to the cute stuff... I totally splurged on this:
And this... only $16:
Of course, I had to hit Archiver's for cute scrap booking loot:
I was in and out in less than an hour. A personal record! Well except the time I was on a layover in Minneapolis and ran over to the Archiver's at the MOA and about missed my plane with the rest of my family.... Um, let's not go there. Let's just say... lesson learned.
In my sad, sad, SAD attempt to "go green," I bought these spray bottles for natural cleaning products when my UNnatural cleaning products run out:
I wish I could say that I want to save the planet -- well actually, I really do - but it's more of a saving money attempt. Sorry Jackie! But hey -- I'll be doing both! Yeah!
And then Nathan got some new summer clothes... that he refuses to model for me. Boys. Hmph!
