FULL of Cuteness!

Scott's dream came true today as he became the dad of his very own hunting dog! Introducing Bodie! He is a German Wirehair. And he is the third 4-legged family member in our dog-lovin' household. Big or small...we love them ALL!

Bodie is:
So puppy-ish.
Clumsy.
Keeps itching at his new collar in mid-step.
Bites at his leash and turns into a buckin' bronco when it's on him.
Cuddly.
Cute.
Sweet.
Floppy ears.
Adorable.
Big feet, long legs, little head, skinny body.
Stretches like a little baby...even makes little noises.

Toby. NOT impressed. AT ALL. He's 3, which equates to 21 in dog years....still has the "teens" in him.

Jasper. Simply curious. The more the merrier.

It's kind of bizarre...but this weekend marks our 1-year anniversary for bringing Jasper home. Isn't that ironic? Wow, I just burst into song typing that. (Alanis Morissette - Ironic)

Anyway, my butt hurts. I'm sitting on the floor and he's all cuddled in. Scott's jealous. I'm jealous that Scott's butt is sitting on a comfy cozy couch. How can I move? He's not allowed to be on the furniture - since he will soon be BIG. He needs some love too - especially on his first day in his new home. I may need to have pillows put underneath me. You'd think my big ol butt would be plenty of cushion, but it just isn't cutting it! I think I'm going to be stiff and extra sore tomorrow. But he's so cute....just another reason to sit here with my laptop. Dang.

On a Depressing Note:
Of course, I had to say a little prayer for his mama today. What does she feel like when all of her babies are taken away? And Bodie, how did he ever say goodbye? To his mama, his papa, and his brothers and sisters? About breaks my heart. Thank goodness he came to a family that will love him just as much!
