Comfy Cozy!

(2nd post of the day!=no life=love every minute of it!)

Oh my gosh...I just can't get warm enough tonight! We headed to Story Book Island after swimming lessons and as enjoyable as it was...I just can't seem to get that chill out of me! I'm sitting directly in front of the fireplace (which is SUPER HOT!) with long johns, flannel pj's, and 3 pairs of socks and I'm just right. It about kills me to move for any reason at all - like letting the dogs out or going to the potty!

The boys rented some PS3 games (which is a huge treat) and just had to test them out before hitting our bed to cuddle in to watch Polar Express...I haven't seen them for a couple of hours! Since I went to bed at 2am last night, this feels OH-SO-GOOD! The movie night can wait until tomorrow!

Story Book Island never ceases to amaze us (in the summer or winter)! I TRULY love it and hope that we are creating some amazing memories for our children when we go there to see all of the gazillions of lights! We always go there with the same friends every year. I honestly don't think we could go there without them...it's tradition! We freeze our butts off, play, chat, and drink the best-ever hot cocoa! I think I feel a scrapbook page coming on about this...

Afterwards, just the 3 of us headed to get supper to go and some movies. Scott and I had Chinese and boy, did it ever hit the spot! I think I feel an addiction coming on...egg rolls with their SUPER spicy, hot, horseradish mustard sauce! It cleans out your sinuses with one tiny drop! But, it truly is to die for!

Time to pry myself away from the fire and go to bed and cuddle in up there (my butt is getting sore!) with my new "Life Artist" book. I've been dying to look at it but savoring it for just the right night. (It's a scrappy book - book!)

PPS ~ Still haven't touched the basement...I should've never quit - I may never go back!
