Well, we're officially moving closer to a finished product in our lowest level. We bought all of the wood work, ordered doors, primed the walls and ceiling, painted the baseboards, painted the ceiling, and ordered carpet! YAHOO! I'm so excited. The entire family primed the basement - Nathan was pretty cute, dripping while he went...but we had so much fun anyway! I'm hoping to paint the walls and crown molding tomorrow but I've been saying that since yesterday morning and keep running out of energy by the end of the day...so we'll see!
By the way, have I mentioned that it was so worth this headache of a move and remodel? A dream of mine was totally answered when I walked Nathan to school for the first time! Every day that we've been able to do it is as remarkable as the first! Soooooooo happy that we are able to do that!

SPIRIT
Nathan watched Spirit (the movie) tonight. He wanted me to sit with him and watch the very touching ending. As I did, I decided that we both need to watch it tomorrow together. I forgot how awesome that movie is. Anyway, I'm surprising him tomorrow morning with the soundtrack that I was able to purchase and download from iTunes. It's soooo good! I can just see us singing to this in the car.
Recipes
Ok, here are a couple of recipes that I scored on this week - yeah! I've been in a major cooking rutt!
I even made this one up - so we'll name it: Flat Bread-Oh-So-Yummy Quick & Easy Wraps:
Light Italian Herb Flat Out Wraps (found in the deli section in Wal-Mart)
Mayo
Dijon Mustard
Shredded mozz cheese
Coleslaw
Dried Beef
Layer in that order with light layers...roll...eat and enjoy!
Nathan even ate them! Wow! I did skip the mustard and coleslaw on his.
BBQ Chicken Pizza:
12" prepared thin pizza crust
1 c. barbecue sauce. original
1 1/2 c. cooked skinless chicken, cut up bite size
1 c. mont-jack shredded cheese*
1/3 c. red bell pepper, cut up bite size*
1 avocado, sliced*
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Spread crust with bbq sauce., then top with chicken, peppers, and avocado. Bake 10-12 minutes.
* I used more than the recipe called for and just sprinkled enough over entire crust to get some in each bite.
Perfect Day
I know you're totally sick of me saying this...but I LOVE this weather. I decided that anything between 60 and 70 degrees is my FAVORITE!
Soooo tired...g'night!
