After Nathan got done swimming yesterday afternoon it started raining here. So, that canceled our plans for the fair and anything else outside. We got lucky enough to find this band in our hotel's lounge. They were so cute and fun and GOOD! We really enjoyed them! They are actors/singers from Florida and came for the fair. We had so much fun hanging out with them. Nathan got an autographed postcard from them that he thought was totally cool! This morning I saw the band in normal clothes eating breakfast...it was so weird to see and hear them out of character. They actually looked normal! (Nathan took both of these pics with my camera.)

After that we headed to supper at a little 50's diner that reminded me of Mr. Goodscents (food) and then to Staples (Scott needed something there and I really needed to replace my NO-WHERE-TO-BE-FOUND purse calendar). When we got back to the hotel, Nathan's newfound buddy was swimming in the pool and begged us to let Nathan swim with him since it was his last night at the hotel. How could we say no? Since Scott and I were completely sick of swimming, we played Batman UNO while we watched them swim. I kicked Scott's butt a billion times - of course. (He must not of been cheating last night!) Anyway, we continued playing upstairs after we left the pool and taught Nathan the game. He caught me not saying UNO more than a few times - STINKER! I'm excited to continue tonight so we can finish our tournament!
Today we're hoping to go to the zoo and the go-cart amusement park...if it doesn't surprise us and rain!
By the way, the pups are doing great! (We miss them sooooo much!) Thanks so much to Amanda and Gina for taking on the big responsibility! You're awesome!
Hey, do I get the prize for the most entries made to a blog in 1 week? I'm on a roll here! I think this is my record! If it weren't for our pups, I don't know if I could go back home - it's sooooo nice to have this much time to do whatever we feel like!
One more thing (boy, can I talk or what?!) Nathan and I are so excited to do the last project on the scrumdilly-do website. Instead of bracelets, we're going to make sweatbands! :o) Speaking of projects, here's another good little magazine with fun ideas: Good Things For Kids by Martha Stewart Living.
