Here is my life right now. Boxes, boxes, and more boxes. But hey, at least I FINALLY found some! Nathan had to have one over his head while carrying one in each hand through Walmart. It was quite a site and we got quite a few looks! HA!
The inspection was yesterday and everything was fine...YAHOO! Now for the appraisal and then we're on our merry way!
Nathan and I enjoyed a somewhat peaceful day yesterday. We took in a movie at the Elks Theatre downtown. We saw 'How To Eat Fried Worms'. It was super cute but I admit I had to close my eyes every time they cooked the worms as well as when he put the worms in his mouth. Those were Nathan's favorite parts of the movie! He teased me that he was going to eat worms when he got home....that was enough to make me quit eating his popcorn for the duration of the movie! (What a smart kid!) Before bed we watched the picture slide show of Disney World...oh how I wish we were taking another vacation to Florida after the move...we'll have to settle for my cousins wedding in Minneapolis in a few weeks! :o)
Woke up early today (6:50 to be exact) because I had to pee and with that pee I had to take a pregnancy test before my doc could start me on some new meds...why, I don't ovulate anyway?! SURPRISE, it came up negative! Anyway, Nathan is still sleeping...so peaceful right now!
I'm excited for Scott to get home tonight to finally help me pack and haul! My goal is to have 5 Tahoe loads today...we'll see!
The dogs are chewing on a new bone given to them this morning. It's their favorite treat. Jasper has to sit on my lap and eat it or else he walks around the entire house with it in his mouth crying these super cute little whines because he is looking for a spot to bury it. I have to lift him on to every bed and every couch and chair until he can find the perfect spot. But then if I sit down again, he brings it back to my lap. How cute is that? He is full of cute personality that's for sure!
Got the fridge and microwave ordered yesterday. I'm meeting with the cabinet lady tomorrow morning - I'm so scared I'm going to forget the appointment! I hope it won't take long to get a few extra cabinets made. Had to sneak to one of my favorite shops in town yesterday before the movie. I found a mirror for one of the bathrooms that I hope will work. The day before, I had to sneak over to Lowe's where I found a couple of light fixtures. I should not be focusing on that stuff right now but I just can't help myself!!!! That's the fun stuff of moving!
A friend of mine had the idea to dump wild flower seeds in our "oh-so natural" backyard. Isn't that a great idea?!!! I can't wait to do it. I can't stop thinking of the many photo opportunities I will have! However, I looked at the packages of them and we have to rake a little to bury the seeds so it will have to wait a while - maybe next year even. However, I hope it works because it will be super cool if it does!
I'm totally craving a scrapbooking weekend! It seems like a far off dream until I will be able to have that creative outlet! I definitely should not look at scrap magazines while going to the bathroom! (Ok, too much info!)
Nathan is still sleeping and I should start packing - my coffee is gone - time to get off my hiney!
