I LOVE my dogs more than words can say...BUT, does it have to be so FLIPPIN hard to potty train? I'm getting so tired of it! Jasper was doing better than we expected in the beginning and I thought he was almost there. Now he's worse than ever! I don't understand! Where did we go wrong? Now I'm back to taking him out myself (instead of letting him out back) to reward him every time he goes. And let me tell ya, that is a TON of work! He thinks he needs to go out about every 10 minutes and then doesn't even go! UGH! It's a good thing he is so darn cute inside and out!!!!! I think we need wood floors - any donors? :o)
Well, Tuesday flew by in the blink of an eye! I had to get up at oh-dark-thirty (4:30am) to stand in line for open enrollment! What a croc! However, I must say, as I was standing in line that early I looked around at the other 8 people there and thought about how much we LOVE our kiddos! (He better get in to the school we want - or else there is going to be a huge uproar in the Gordon household!) If only kids new what we do for them before they turn into parents themselves!
We're heading to Denver to see Aunt Jackie on Friday morning. And by we, I mean Nathan and I and two cute pups! Scott will be fishing in a tournament this weekend and since he fished all of last weekend, I decided to venture to Denver. We're super excited to see Jackie & Nick - but most of all - Basil! We can't wait for the pups to reunite and play their little hearts out! After all, that is Nathan, Toby, and Jasper's only first cousin. I wish they'd quit being so stubborn and give us a playmate for Nathan. If they truly loved Nathan, they'd get on it! PPPPPLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEE! I don't know why but my begging doesn't ever work!
We're officially done with Sunday (Wednesday) school until fall. That means no more lesson planning for mom and one less thing to attend during the week. But oh yeah, t-ball starts next Monday. However, I can just go and enjoy it without any pre-planning!
The crab-apple trees and lilacs are starting to bloom around here. They are so gorgeous! And we've had 3 friends have 3 babies during the month of April (all girls), which seems so appropriate for spring!
I suppose, I better get off my hiney and make beds, get showered, get Nathan bathed, do laundry, tend to the pups, pick up the house, unload the dishwasher, pay bills, balance my checkbook, update the Mops website, balance their checkbook, write a grocery list, return some phone calls, get a baby present ready to deliver this afternoon, plan supper, iron, take Nathan to school, finish cleaning the basement, blah blah blah! And so begins my day....
Have a good one!

Pretty amazing, huh? You have to let the hubby in on this little secret. ha ha!
Oh my gosh...that is so true! I told Scott about it and he said "bullsh--." He wasn't close enough to me so that I could smack him...but then he did say he was just kidding. However, I don't really think he truly knows just how very much we are worth! Priceless really!!!!!
